Carlos has a Degree in Law (E-1 – Company Law Specialist) from the Pontificia Comillas University (ICADE), and a Master´s Degree in Tax Law from the CEF.
Carlos began his professional career with KPMG ABOGADOS, at the Tax Department (Madrid), and after six years he joined Garrigues, working on the firm´s office located in León for two more years.
He joined ONTIER Spain in 2007, and he has been developing the Taxation Practice since then both in Oviedo and Madrid premises, giving advice to companies from different sectors (industry, real estate, etc.).
His professional activity in ONTIER Spain covers Taxation, giving advice to individuals, family groups and companies at national and international level, in restructuring transactions (M&A), wealth management and tax planning. Carlos also gives advice on matters and issues related to any tax in the clients´ day-to-day business and activities, and has broad experience in assistance and guidance in tax administrative (management, audit, claims and disputes with tax authorities) and contentious-administrative proceedings concerning tax matters.
Carlos has participated and is also a Speaker in different courses, conferences, seminars and workshops organized by different financial institutions, business associations and other relevant private institutions related to tax matters and issues.
