Cristina Camarero Espinosa

With a Degree in Law from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a Masters in family Law, Cristina started her career at ONTIER Spain in 2002. After initiating her practice in Corporate, Labor and Family law, Cristina has focused her professional development in Litigation and is currently Partner of the Litigation Department,
During more than twenty years of practice, Cristina has managed many complex judicial and arbitration proceedings. Her expertise is focused in conflicts on M&A transactions; corporate disputes (shareholders agreements; director´s liability; challenge of corporate resolutions); breach and termination of contracts (construction; agency; distribution; franchise; joint venture) and professional liability. On a singular basis, Cristina takes care of important family disputes.
It should be mentioned Cristina´s participation in the most important case of Spanish´s judicial history regarding directors liability, in the context of the sale of a stocked company through a takeover, with an amount in dispute over 1.500 million euros.
Currently Cristina teaches at Universidad San Pablo CEU; la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos and at the LLM at IE Law School, IE University.
Cristina is appointed as a leading litigation lawyer in Chambers and Partners and in Legal 500 and has been recognized as one of the top 50 women lawyers by ‘InspiraLaw’ of Iberian Lawyer in two occasions.
