María Jesús Dehesa Pérez

María Jesús Dehesa holds a BA in Law from the San Pablo CEU University of Madrid and a MA in EU Law from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE).
Her more than 25 years of experience and professional practice in the firm are focused on Commercial and Civil Law, and especially in the international field, having provided legal advice to different national and international companies in the areas of Corporate and M&A, financing, and international contracting.
She was in charge of the implementation, opening and development of ONTIER's office in Bogotà (Colombia), where she lived from 2012 to 2017 and advised many Spanish and European companies in their expansion process in LATAM.
She has held the position of Secretary and Legal Advisor to the Board of Directors of various Spanish companies.
She has combined her activity with academic work at IE, San Pablo CEU University and ISDE. She is also the author of several articles and publications: 'Los conflictos en la empresa familiar' (Tratado Conflictos Societarios, Tirant Lo Blanch 2019), 'El contrato de agencia' (Fashion Law, Derecho de la Moda, Thomson Reuters 2018 and 2020).
She currently holds the position of Secretary to the Association of Fashion Law Experts (also collaborating in different publications such as sectorial legal guides) and leads ONTIER’s global Fashion and Luxury practice.
María Jesús Dehesa is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
