Alberto Manzanares Secades

Alberto Manzanares Secades graduated in Law from the Autonomous University of Madrid, being outstanding his final grade and receiving the Extraordinary Degree Award. He is also a PhD in Civil Law by the Autonomous University of Madrid, being outstanding Cum Laude his final grade.
He started his professional career in Spanish law firm A. Rodríguez-Arias in 1976, where he was a Partner from 1985 to 1998. He then became a Partner at Clifford Chance in 2000, where he also held positions such as Managing Partner of the Banking & Finance Department and Of Counsel.
He has been a member of the Madrid Bar Association since 1979 and a Lecturer of the Autonomous University of Madrid and the Instituto de Empresa (IE), and has been a Visiting Researcher at Fordham University Law School (New York). He is also the author of numerous publications; including the recent work 'Studies on syndicated finance', edited by Thomson Reuters.
He joined ONTIER in 2018 as Counsel in the Corporate and Finance area.
