José María Fernández Mota graduated in Law and Business Administration and Management from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in 2004.
In 2006 he completed the Course on Procedural-Labour Practice at ICAM and the Advanced Course on Labour Law and Social Security at the School of Legal Practice in the academic year 2009-2010.
His professional experience has been developed in the field of labour law and labour relations, advising companies from different industries on labour law matters: recurrent legal advice, collective negotiation (ERE, ERTE, Collective Bargaining Agreements, Substantial Modification of Working Conditions, etc.), as well as legal defence before the courts and tribunals of the Social Jurisdiction, both for companies and managers.
José María has combined his work as a labour lawyer with teaching, giving many courses, lectures and conferences in various companies (INDRA, FERROVIAL, FCC AQUALIA), Business Schools (Escuela de Técnica Jurídica), Universities (UNIR) and Associations (APD).
He joined ONTIER as Managing Partner of the Labour Law area in 2022 from MA Abogados.
Member of the Madrid Bar Association.
