Antonio Góngora

After obtaining his LLM in International Dispute Resolution at the University of London, Antonio completed internships at international organisations such as the International Bar Association in London and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) in Vienna. Before joining ONTIER, he worked at DAC Beachcroft, SHEARMAN & STERLING in Paris and Pérez-LLorca y GARRIGUES in Madrid.
He has more than 18 years of extensive experience in litigation and arbitration proceedings, particularly in the construction sector. He also has a solid track record in applying for and defending interim injunctions before national courts in support of foreign arbitration proceedings.
Antonio has lectured on recognition and enforcement of foreign awards in the Master's Degree on Access to Law at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and writes regularly on arbitration in leading Spanish publications such as Spanish Arbitration Review or Anuario de Arbitraje.
He speaks Spanish, English and Italian.
