Irene Ortega de Mingo

Irene graduated in Law (2016-2020). Subsequently, she studied the Double Master's Degree in Access to the Legal Profession and Corporate Legal Consultancy (LL.M) at IE Law School, where she graduated as part of the IE Law School Dean's List in recognition of one of the best records of her promotion. She also holds a Certificate in European Studies from IE University, completing her training in competition and regulated sectors, particularly in the energy and gaming sectors, and in other sectors, such as art and cultural heritage.

During her academic career, Irene chaired the Spanish section of The European Law Student's Association, where she had the opportunity to collaborate with major law firms in the organisation of legal activities and with law students from all over Europe, also completing her academic training in relevant sectors such as aeronautics, and training in digital law and blockchain, among other subjects.

A member of the Madrid Bar Association, Irene began her professional career at ONTIER in 2021. Since then, she has been advising on all kinds of public, regulatory and urban planning matters and, in particular, on asset liability, public procurement, and aid and subsidies.

Within the Energy Sector, Irene has participated in numerous transactions involving the purchase and sale and financing of renewable energy projects (mainly photovoltaic and wind), advising on all kinds of public and regulatory law issues. In addition, Irene has experience in advising on the development of all types of renewable energy projects and also in access and connection disputes to transmission and distribution networks.
